Spectrum for Living, a New Jersey not-for-profit organization, helps adults with developmental disabilities attain their maximum potential by providing quality housing and clinical services in state-of-the-art facilities and in the homes of families caring for disabled loved one.
Monday to Friday 9am-5pm Full-Time Job Functions:
Visit clients & their families in the community.
Assess and identify services needed.
Refer and recommend appropriate services and assist with application process.
Accompany clients to interviews and assist with appeals as needed.
Provide direct support and assistance.
Attend appointments with clients providing advocacy and assistance.
Knowledge of community resources and entitlements.
Requirements:
Valid (non-probationary) Driver's License Basic Computer Knowledge Strong communication skills and problem-solving abilities.
Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or in the field of Human or Social Services.
